The video below is one of the swimming sessions for the pups.  The break-thru came when Dillin found courage to get in the water in order to retrieve a ball.   They are becoming more and more confident in the water!

After a long day of eating, sleeping and playing-the pups took a long well-earned nap in the back yard...in my chair!

I went up to LA yesterday to visit with Danny and Susie.  We went for a walk on Melrose, walked into a pet store and Dillin found a shelf full of toys.  Next thing we know, he is up on the shelf, playing with the toys.   A young lady took his picture and sent it to me.  So darn cute!!!

I haven't posted anything for awhile.  The pups are getting bigger by the day.  I took them out for their first walk in a public place besides leash training in the neighborhood.  I went to an outdoor shopping center and they were accosted by three little girls.  It was a great day for them.  they gained some confidence.  I also have an audition coming up this next weekend.  I need to read the script, but its an off broadway show.  And the beginning is great!!

The weekend saw a lot of rain all over Texas.  We got a steady flow Friday and Saturday.  Rumbling thunder and dark ominous clouds poured  a little over 2 inches in the Austin area.  All the SXSW participants were also pouring into Austin over the weekend.  Late Saturday night there was a break in the weather.  Having a serious case of cabin fever I decided to take a walk downtown and see what was happening in the early stages of SXSW.  I encountered this musician on the street

This is a brief compilation of the babies: romping in the yard, swimming lessons and playing ON daddy!

Today I auditioned for a local shakespeare production.  I thought the read went well, but I think I have a lot of competition.  People who have already worked with this director.  we'll see.  I also submitted 6 images to Istock and started to work on the family xmas book.

Todays image is an older piece.  A friend of mine worked for The Grammys, she helped put together the program for the event.  I submitted my portfolio thru her and was invited to do an insert that went into the program.  I was really proud of this piece because it combined hand painting black and white photographs and digital design-

Performances this weekend.  Danny coming in from Los Angeles to see the show and the puppies.  Looking forward to seeing him.  Todays image is from Burning Man/ 2011. I watched a man draw in a book layed out for people to express their creativity.  It was so personal.  I definitely asked if I could shoot him.  One of my favorite shots from Burning Man.

One of my favorite restaurants in The Big Apple is The Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station
Upcoming goals.

Return to writing screenplay.

Start family holiday Photo album

Big day for the puppies.  they have overcome their fear of steps.  Now they approach each step with some trepidation, master it and the next time they hit that step, they leap off it with wild abandonment.  Like little gazelles.  It was fun to watch them explore parts of the backyard today.

I just entered this image in a very prestigious international black and white photography contest.  Very excited and keeping my fingers crossed!!

I took a lot of pix in NYC, but this was one of my favorites

Dillin was chillin in Petco, checkin out the Rats!

My favorite picture of the babies, so far! :)
I am starting a new blog site.  a space to put my thoughts down both visual and written.  I'll try to write something everyday and add as many pix as I can-
